Karen froze. Her grip on the coffee cup slackened, and hot liquid spilled onto her hand. She flinched but barely felt the sting as she stared, wide-eyed, at her double.
The woman turned and walked briskly down the street, weaving through the crowd with a casual confidence that sent shivers down Karen’s spine.
