They shouted
In the streets,
They shouted
In the boulevards
Waving banners,
The deluded and lost,
Purple and blue dyed hair,
Tattooed and pierced,
Aimless and hollow,
Uneducated and denuded of
Wisdom searching for meaning
To fill their spiritual and existential
Voids through selective causes,
Oblivious and unaware of their own
Privilege and hypocrisy and ignorant
Of the fact that their hollow prosperous
Lives were made possible the very west
They seek to attack while the hungry poor
Of the developing world do not have the
Luxury for protests and self reflection,
As they spend all of their time
Struggling to survive.
