Chains #Poem by Olivia Mendez

Enchained with ignorance and imperfections,
endless dimensions twist in dark reflections.
In a demonic delight to bind,
all desperations of improvement confined.

Wandering through shadows, we search for light,
grasping at truths hidden from sight.
But the chains grow tighter, unseen, unheard,
as we struggle in silence, lost in a word.

Falling through realms of regret and desire,
tempted by flames that fuel the fire.
Each step we take seems farther from grace,
in the endless loop, we lose our place.

Yet in this despair, there's a glimmer of might,
a flicker of hope within the night.
For even in bondage, the soul can transcend,
and rise from the depths where the chains may stop.
