Another Tomorrow #Poem #Painting by Nikos Laios

The rain softly fell
On bitumen streets,
And the rusting hulk
Creaked and groaned
In the harbour and a
Yellow mist covered

The tops of buildings
And the steel bridge
Spanning the harbour,
And the air was cold
And the streetlights
Were dim while
The city slept
And the world
Turned and they
Dreamt of another
Tomorrow.
