I too have regrets,
They’re my regrets,
They’re proof that
One has lived
Richly and deeply.

Loves and losses,
Passions and victories,
Sins and good deeds,
Errors of moral and
Intellectual judgement,
Destruction and decay,
Redemption and rebirth,
And the hollow days
Of the past that are
Lost in the mist
Of memories,
Our regrets
Make us
Human.
