They searched
Through rubbish
In the streets
Of Caracas,
They searched
For scraps of food,
They were the new
Homeless and a result
Of Maduro’s promised
Socialist wonderland,
But he brought them
Instead a savage
Totalitarian
Dictatorship,
Where inflation,
Was above 500%.

Then Maduro
Was gone and
The liberals in
The US protested
His demise,
While masses
Of Venezuelans
Around the world
Celebrated
The liberation
Of their people.
